This week I replaced one Survivor Nicaragua contestant for another. Kelly had to take the week off so instead of podcasting with her, Holly Hoffman took her place. Holly and I briefly recapped the season so far and then spent the majority of the time talking about the latest episode in which both Reynold and Andrea got voted out in one episode. While it was sad to see Andrea go, the show must go on and I am quite confident that we did an excellent job of covering it this week!
We are back after missing out on doing a podcast last week due to an unfortunate situation that was beyond our control. But having a week off brought added enthusiasm to the podcast so you definitely won’t want to miss this one! We talked about where Malcolm went wrong how we thought he should have played things the last two weeks and what is going to happen to the other amigos in the upcoming episodes. Kelly gave us great insight into what Brenda is thinking and why she was so emotional this week which is something you won’t find anywhere else so make sure to listen to it all!

Other discussions we had were how great of a job Andrea did last night in avoiding being voted out, and how she has vastly improved her game play from her previous season. Time to go in depth into the story analysis with a writer and someone who pays more attention to the story line of each season of Survivor Justin Lesniewski. We went in depth into how every person was being edited, and portrayed and what that might mean for their future in the game. We broke-down the alliances formed especially the new male alliance and how that might effect the game after the merge. Everyone gave their opinions on who we expected to make the f3 and the short list of who we think has the best shot of winning the game.
Whitney Duncan from Survivor South Pacific comes on to talk about her former cast members Dawn, Cochran and Brandon Hantz. She also opens up about her and Keith’s relationship and many other great topics that you will surely enjoy!
We needed someone special to help us cover the Brandon Hantz meltdown episode so I went out and got us Ian Terry the winner of Big Brother 14! Ian is a huge Survivor fan and is no stranger to seeing a Hantz get kicked off a CBS show! So in this podcast we discussed how he was liking the season so far who he was rooting for what he thought of the entire Hantz family especially Russell’s brother Willie! It was a great blend of Survivor talk + Big Brother talk definitely a podcast fans of both shows will enjoy!
Kelly and I were flying solo this week on our Survivor Caramoan episode 4 discussion. We labeled this the “Shamar quit episode” so our discussion focused on him and how terrible the rest of the fans were at playing Survivor. Over on the favorites tribe we discussed each individual players chances are going forward how we thought they would do and who we thought would be sitting at the end.

Survivor Superfan cast has a new look or rather a new sound to it this season as Kelly Shinn from Survivor Nicaragua is my new podcast co-host this season!
